Robitussin Chesty Cough Oral Solution treats the symptoms of a chesty cough such as thick and sticky mucus or phlegm, and tightness in the chest. It works by loosening and thinning the mucus or phlegm so that it’s easier to cough up. To get the most from this medicine, it is recommended that you take a dose 4 times per day, so that the active ingredients can help your body be more effective at relieving your cough all day long.

Each 5ml of oral solution contains: Guaifenesin 100mg
Also contains: Maltitol (E965), Sorbitol Solution 70%, Ethanol (96%) 2.7% v/v.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: One 10ml measure up to 4 times daily.
Children under 12 years: Do not use.
- For oral use only.
- Use the dosing cup provided with the pack.
- Do not give this product to anyone under the age of 12.
- Talk to your pharmacist or doctor before taking this medicine if you are taking any other medicines, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Please read the enclosed leaflet before use.
- This medicine can make you feel sleepy. Do not drive while taking this medicine until you know how it makes you feel. See the leaflet inside for more information.
