Hedrin lotion is designed for the treatment of head lice in adults and children aged 6 months and over. The odourless and skin-friendly formula contains no organophosphates, relieving the irritating symptoms caused by head lice. The active ingredient dimeticone works to coat the head lice, stopping them from moving so they can be easily removed from the hair.
Hedrin 4% contains Demicone 4% w/w. For more information, please see product packaging.
Apply sufficient lotion evenly over dry hair ensuring that the scalp is fully covered. Work into the hair spreading the liquid evenly from the roots to tips. Allow the hair to dry naturally. Leave on the hair for at least 8 hours or overnight. Wash the hair with normal shampoo, rinse thoroughly with water and dry.
Duration of treatment
It is important that Hedrin® Lotion is applied again after seven days to deal with any lice which may hatch in that time. Failure to repeat the treatment may result in the return of a louse infestation.
Please Note: Hedrin 4% Lotion is suitable for adults and children 6 months and over to use.
- Always keep out of sight and reach of children.
- If contact with eyes occurs, quickly wash it out with water.
- Do not continue to use hedrin if a skin rash or hypersensitivity occurs.
- Keep hair away from any naked flames, cigarettes and any other source of ignition.
